Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), saw Southwestern Randolph's basketball squad wallop East Davidson by a tally of 62-41.

With the victory, Southwestern Randolph improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Trinity (Trinity, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Conference 31 test on Friday, January 20.
