The Fort Ann Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Salem Generals to 30 in the Cardinals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hadley Luzerne for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Friday, January 13. Fort Ann will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-37 league loss to North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

The Generals (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Granville (Granville, NY). The Golden Horde enter the Section 2 Adirondack contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Granville triumphed over Whitehall (Whitehall, NY), 59-43, in a league contest.
