January 11, 2023: Galena Park, TX 77547 Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northside Panthers (Houston, TX), 76-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Galena Park upgrades its record to 4-16 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Wisdom (Houston, TX) to clash with the Generals in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, January 13. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Wisdom lost 69-32 in their recent league bout against Sterling (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, January 13. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Apollos go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 81-58 league win over Waltrip (Houston, TX).
