Washington High School Basketball - Mariner can't hold off Kamiak
January 11, 2023: Everett, WA 98204 The Kamiak Knights basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Mariner Marauders to 71 in the Knights league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Kamiak will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 78-57 league loss to Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-9.
The Marauders (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA). The Grizzlies come into the 4A Wesco contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Glacier Peak edged Jackson (Mill Creek, WA), 53-49, in a league contest.
