Illinois High School Basketball - Stagg can't hold off Minooka
January 11, 2023: Minooka, IL 60447 The Stagg Chargers basketball team (Palos Hills, IL), was nudged 67-63 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL)
The Indians now possess a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a SouthWest Prairie battle on Friday, January 13. Minooka will battle a Bengals team coming off a 58-54 league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 8-9.
The Chargers (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors come into the SouthWest Suburban - Red battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way West was nudged by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 62-50, in a non-league battle.
