Idaho High School Basketball - Pocatello holds off Preston
January 11, 2023: Pocatello, ID 83204 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID) and the visiting Preston Indians (Preston, ID), saw Pocatello's basketball squad hold off Preston by a tally of 65-60.
With the victory, Pocatello improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Shelley (Shelley, ID) to confront the Russets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Russets come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Shelley won 65-46 in their recent league challenge against Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID)
Next up, the Indians confront the Century Diamondbacks (Pocatello, ID) in a 4A South East Idaho challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Preston will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.
