Louisiana High School Basketball - De La Salle nips Cabrini
January 11, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA), 50-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Cavalier host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA) to play the Swamp Owls in a 4A District 9 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Swamp Owls come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy won 64-16 in their recent league bout against Willow (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Crescents play the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Cabrini will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 52-24 non-league win over Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA).
