Louisiana High School Basketball - De La Salle fells Riverside Academy
January 16, 2023: Reserve, LA 70084 De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 59-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Cavalier host Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA) to play the Mustangs in a 4A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Rebels play the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a 1A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Riverside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 46-19 league loss to St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA).
