The Ponderosa Bruins topped the host Placer Hillmen basketball team by a final score of 54-40 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley game, on Friday, January 13. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 12-5 record after their 47-39 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
