With the victory, Santa Rosa improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to confront the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Tucumcari lost 52-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Portales (Portales, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Tularosa will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 42-29 non-league win over Jal (Jal, NM).
