New Mexico High School Basketball - Texico holds off Tularosa
December 16, 2022: Texico, NM 88135 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) and the visiting Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM), saw Texico's basketball squad hold off Tularosa by a tally of 52-47.
With the victory, Texico improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Farwell (Farwell, TX) to confront the Steers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Steers come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Farwell won 55-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Tularosa will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 51-17 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM).
