New Mexico High School Basketball - Mescalero Apache knocked off by Texico
November 28, 2022: Texico, NM 88135 The Texico Wolverines basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs to 33 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Texico will battle a Fighting Colts team coming off a 56-21 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 0-1.
The Chiefs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Loving (Loving, NM). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
