January 11, 2023: Palm Desert, CA 92211 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) and the host Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA), saw Shadow Hills's basketball squad hold off Xavier Prep by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Shadow Hills improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA) to confront the Aztecs in a Desert Empire challenge on Friday, January 13. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Palm Desert won 53-13 in their recent league challenge against Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA)
Next up, the Saints confront the Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) in a Desert Empire challenge, on Friday, January 13. Xavier Prep will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 58-22 league loss to La Quinta (La Quinta, CA).
