Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Utica Eisenhower upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Dakota (Macomb, MI) to play the Cougars in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) in a bout, on Thursday, January 19. Dakota will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 41-38 league loss to Dakota (Macomb, MI).
