January 11, 2023: King George, VA 22485 James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host King George Foxes (King George, VA), 47-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, James Monroe upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Caroline (Milford, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Caroline lost 42-15 in their recent non-league bout against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA)
Next up, the Foxes play the Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. King George will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 44-34 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
