Alaska High School Ice Hockey - Chugiak knocks off Service
January 11, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99507 The Chugiak Mustangs trounced the host Service Cougars ice hockey squad by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Chugiak moves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to confront the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 6-3. West Valley won 17-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
The Cougars now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett for a Cook Inlet bout on Wednesday, January 18. Service will confront a Golden Bears squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-13.
