January 11, 2024: Hartford, CT 06106 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) and the host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), saw Academy of Science and Innovation's basketball squad hold off Sports & Medical Sciences Academy by a tally of 61-60.
With the victory, Academy of Science and Innovation improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Weaver (Hartford, CT) to confront the Beavers in a Capitol Region challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Weaver lost 82-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Conard (West Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
