Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Coatesville overwhelms Avon Grove
January 11, 2024: West Grove, PA 19390 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) and the host Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA), saw Coatesville's basketball squad wallop Avon Grove by a tally of 67-37.
With the victory, Coatesville improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Reading (Reading, PA) to confront the Red KNights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Red KNights come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Reading won 88-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin Valley (Elverson, PA)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Avon Grove will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Knights come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 93-76 league win over Kennett (Kennett Square, PA).
