Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Escambia County Blue Devils (Atmore, AL) and the host T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL), saw Escambia County's basketball squad overcome T.R. Miller by a tally of 54-42.

With the victory, Escambia County improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Hillcrest won 81-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Shields (Beatrice, AL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. T.R. Miller will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
