January 11, 2024: Herndon, VA 20171 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA) and the visiting Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA), saw King Abdullah Academy's basketball squad wallop Fredericksburg Academy by a tally of 71-19.
With the victory, King Abdullah Academy improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to confront the Flames in a VISAA Division III challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Flames come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Eastern Mennonite won 54-48 in their recent non-league challenge against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) in a Greater Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Fredericksburg Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 62-49 league win over Quantico (Quantico, VA).
