Washington High School Basketball - Spanaway Lake topped by Lincoln
January 11, 2024: Tacoma, WA 98418 The Lincoln Abes basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Spanaway Lake Sentinels to 50 in the Abes league victory on Thursday.
The Abes now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Thurston for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Lincoln will battle a Rams team coming off a 70-57 league win over Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Rams record now stands at 12-1.
The Sentinels (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA). The T-Birds come into the 3A Pierce County contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Tahoma prevailed over Lakes (Lakewood, WA), 65-56, in a league contest.
