In Thursday's non-league outing, the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs (Waco, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX), by a count of 61-36.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hill (Fort Worth, TX). The Hawks go into the TCAF District 1 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Hill was crushed by Chisholm Trail Academy (Keene, TX), 65-42, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they host CenTex HomeSchool for a TAIAO outing on Tuesday, January 16. Valor Preparatory Academy will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 68-26 non-league loss to Texas Wind (Waco, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 1-4.
