Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Avonworth routs East Allegheny
January 11, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 In Thursday's league outing, the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA), by a margin of 54-9.
The Antelopes (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels go into the WPIAL 3A 2 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Seton LaSalle smashed Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 63-44, in a league outing.
The Wild Cats now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Keystone Oaks for a WPIAL 3A 2 outing on Monday, January 15. East Allegheny will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 49-19 league win over South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
