Oregon High School Basketball - Banks overwhelms Rainier
January 11, 2024: Banks, OR 97106 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Banks Braves (Banks, OR) and the visiting Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), saw Banks's basketball squad wallop Rainier by a tally of 59-36.
With the victory, Banks improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Astoria (Astoria, OR) to confront the Fishermen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Fishermen come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Astoria won 67-28 in their recent league challenge against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR)
Next up, the Columbians confront the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range challenge, on Monday, January 15. Rainier will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 58-32 league loss to Corbett (Corbett, OR).
