The Central Valley Hawks basketball team (Ceres, CA), was nudged 47-46 in Thursday's league battle with the host Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA)

The Thunder now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patterson for a Central California Conference battle on Tuesday, January 16. Buhach Colony will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-17 league win over Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 19-1.

The Hawks (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Patterson (Patterson, CA). The Tigers go into the Central California Conference outing with a 18-1 record. In their last outing, Patterson held off El Capitan (Merced, CA), 45-37, in a league outing.
