In Thursday's league match, the host Corner Canyon Chargers basketball team scored a decisive 75-48 triumph over the Riverton Silverwolves.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT) in a 6A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, January 16. Corner Canyon will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 6-5 record after their 54-41 league loss to Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT).

With the defeat, Riverton moves to 3-10 on the year. The Silverwolves host Bingham (South Jordan, UT) to meet the Miners in a 6A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 16.
