January 11, 2024: Louisville, GA 30434 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA) and the host Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA), saw Gatewood's basketball squad wallop Thomas Jefferson Academy by a tally of 61-29.
With the victory, Gatewood improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Windsor Academy (Macon, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Windsor Academy lost 71-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Thomas Jefferson Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
