Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), 79-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakes upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Lancers host Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to clash with the Panthers in a 3A Pierce County bout on Saturday, January 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Bonney Lake won 68-26 in their recent league bout against Silas (Tacoma, WA)

Next up, the T-Birds clash with the Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA) in a 3A Pierce County bout, on Saturday, January 13. Mount Tahoma will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 61-21 league loss to Lincoln (Tacoma, WA).
