West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, West Holmes upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Knights host Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Margaretta won 39-34 in their recent non-league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal bout, on Thursday, January 18. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
