With the victory, Manhattan Catholic upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS) to play the Patriots in a Great Plains challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Christ Prep Academy lost 47-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Manhattan Catholic Hawks (Manhattan, KS) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Metro Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 39-32 league win over Quivira Heights (Bushton, KS).
