Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), 44-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Upper Perkiomen upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Indians host Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to clash with the Phantoms in a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Phantoms go into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Renaissance Academy Knights (Phoenixville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Pottstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 41-22 league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA).
