Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) and the host Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), saw Methacton's basketball squad hold off Boyertown by a tally of 41-36.

With the victory, Methacton improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA) to play the Colonials in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Colonials go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Boyertown will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
