Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), 63-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Gray Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The War Eagles travel to American Leadership Academy (Lexington, SC) to play the Patriots in a bout on Monday, January 15. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-5. American Leadership Academy lost 76-74 in their recent league bout against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC)

Next up, the Lancers play the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada (Conway, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Armada go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC).
