January 11, 2025: Fort Madison, IA 52627 Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA), 81-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fort Madison advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bloodhounds host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to face the Chiefs in a Southeast match on Tuesday, January 14. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 5-3. Keokuk won 64-38 in their recent non-league match against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO)
The Hawks now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame for a SEI - South match on Tuesday, January 14. Central Lee will face a Nikes squad coming off a 94-54 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Nikes record now stands at 8-2.
