Indiana High School Basketball - New Palestine thwarts Delta

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) and the host Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN), observed New Palestine's basketball team knock off Delta by a score of 69-56.

The Dragons (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Arabians come into the Hoosier Heritage challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Pendleton Heights prevailed over Frankton (Frankton, IN), 51-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Delta will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 85-41 league win over Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN).
