The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons basketball squad (Flanagan, IL), was nudged 52-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL)

With the victory, Roanoke-Benson advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Rockets travel to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 11-3. Fieldcrest lost 77-68 in their recent non-league battle against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL)
