The Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets basketball squad (Grand Island, NE), was crushed 42-18 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE)

With the victory, Silver Lake advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Harvard (Harvard, NE) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 0-12.
