Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McDowell overwhelms Taylor Allderdice

The McDowell Trojans basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Taylor Allderdice Dragons to 56 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a District 10 Region 6 game on Monday, January 13. McDowell will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 79-48 league win over North East (North East, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Taylor Allderdice falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Obama Academy of International Studies (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Eagles in a Pittsburgh City game on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-5. Obama Academy of International Studies won 54-49 in their recent league game against Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA)
