With the victory, St. Mary's advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Hawks host West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to face the Falcons in a War Eagle match on Tuesday, January 14. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 3-7. West Sioux lost 51-43 in their recent league match against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA)
The Eagles now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute for a Western Valley - North match on Friday, January 17. Siouxland Christian will face a squad coming off a 69-51 league loss to Ridge View (Holstein, IA). The record now stands at 3-9.
