In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Gentry Rams basketball team scored a big 49-26 triumph over the Edwards Tigers.

The Rams (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves go into the 5A Region 2 contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Cleveland Central was trounced by Canton (Canton, MS), 56-22, in a league contest.
