With the victory, Spruce Mountain advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to meet the Black Bears in a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. The Black Bears enter the battle with a record of 8-3. Maranacook lost 46-39 in their recent non-league battle against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME)
The Eagles now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount View for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Lincoln Academy will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-28 non-league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-6.
