The Mt. Gilead Indians nipped the host Northmor Golden Knights basketball squad by a final score of 47-42 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Indians face the Centerburg Trojans (Centerburg, OH) in a Knox Morrow outing, on Wednesday, January 15. Mt. Gilead will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 13-1 record after their 60-39 non-league win over Utica (Utica, OH).

The Golden Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against East Knox (Howard, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Knox Morrow outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, East Knox was nipped by Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH), 51-41, in a league outing.
