Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Simley drops to Hill-Murray
January 11, 2025: Maplewood, MN 55109 Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) fans exited the stadium happy Saturday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 7-0 in a league game.
With the win, Hill-Murray improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN) to clash with the Red Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Red Knights enter the game with a record of 10-1. Benilde-St. Margaret's won 13-1 in their recent non-league game against New Prague (New Prague, MN)
The Spartans now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Winona for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Simley will clash with a Winhawks squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Austin (Austin, MN). The Winhawks record now stands at 6-3.
