Washington High School Basketball - Liberty Christian triumphant over DeSales
January 11, 2025: Richland, WA 99354 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA) and the visiting DeSales Irish (Walla Walla, WA), observed Liberty Christian's basketball team overwhelm DeSales by a margin of 59-26.
The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Garfield-Palouse (Palouse, WA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Garfield-Palouse trounced Dayton (Dayton, WA), 37-4, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Irish play the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 14. DeSales will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 51-40 non-league loss to Yakama Nation Tribal (Toppenish, WA).
