Texas High School Soccer - Waelder toppled by Del Valle
January 11, 2025: Del Valle, TX 78617 Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Waelder Wildcats (Waelder, TX), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Del Valle moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, January 17. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzales for a non-league test on Monday, January 13. Waelder will clash with a Apaches team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 0-1.
