January 12, 2022: Naugatuck, CT 06770 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) and the visiting Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT), saw Naugatuck's basketball squad wallop Woodland Regional by a tally of 82-51.
With the victory, Naugatuck improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Notre Dame Catholic won 63-60 in their recent league challenge against Immaculate (Danbury, CT)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper challenge, on Friday, January 14. Woodland Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 68-41 non-league loss to Watertown (Watertown, CT).
