The Sherwood Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Northwood Gladiators to 30 in the Warriors league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair for a Montgomery County - 4A East contest on Friday, January 14. Sherwood will battle a Blazers team coming off a 66-52 league win over Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 5-1.

The Gladiators (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Blake (Silver Spring, MD). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Blake triumphed over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 87-9, in a non-league contest.
