Calvary Christian EAGLES (Indianapolis, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pleasant View Christian Bulldogs (Montgomery, IN), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The EAGLES host Horizon Christian (Indianapolis, IN) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Horizon Christian won 70-51 in their recent league bout against Community Christian (Connersville, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks (Ellettsville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Pleasant View Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Firehawks go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 77-22 non-league loss to Wabash Valley HomeSchool (Terre Haute, IN).
