The St. Mary's Lancers basketball team (Lancaster, NY), was toppled 54-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY)

The Crusaders now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niagara Falls for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Canisius will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 56-52 league loss to Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-1.

The Lancers (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings come into the Monsignor Martin battle with a 6-3 record.
