Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the The Connection School of Houston Bears (Cypress, TX) and the visiting Faith Academy Knights (Bellville, TX), saw The Connection School of Houston's basketball squad hold off Faith Academy by a tally of 42-39.

With the victory, The Connection School of Houston improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to True North (The Woodlands, TX) to confront the Knights in a TCAL challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. True North won 74-31 in their recent league challenge against Banff (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Knights confront the Still Creek Christian Colts (Bryan, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Faith Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
